We’re back for our fourth year and again part of Art Walk with our own street closed off in downtown LA. Naughty and nice alike can come get their just deserts from St. Nicholas and the switch-wielding devils of LA’s first and only KRAMPUS TROUPE. We’ll also have several northern Californians from BEAST BAY KRAMPUS, including artist Kimric Smythe who will again be chauffeuring Nicholas in his amazing Krampus-driven steam-car. The event is FREE and family-friendly (our Krampuses are well trained to not frighten children)
Soon as the last switch has been swung by 9pm, head over for the FREE after party just next door at the 1914-era Regent Theater. There you will behold entertainments hand picked by Krampus himself, including the Devil’s favorite party band, ROSEMARY’S BILLYGOAT. Headed by Mike Odd (of Mac Sabbath), Rosemary’s Billygoat balances high camp and wickedly effective horror meta in a fire-breathing stage show complete with monster props and costumes, musical electric chair shenanigans, and flaming pentagrams. Party is 21+
Krampus of course delights in his Germanic heritage and all things Nordic including the Nordic lesbian Viking Metal of SAPPHIC MUSK. Descending from Valhalla by way of Lezstonia, these musical Valkyries are proud three-time winners of the Lezstonian National Music Award for “Best Sapphic/Pagan Metal Band” category. The always battle-ready lead singer Sara Trussellss, explains their formula of success: “We derive from Europe eastern from there it is known Rock n Roll, Punk, Metal from far away coming to rock you, United States. The name Sapphic Musk represent the male deer but instead we are mighty sapphic virile females.” All hail the Lady Freya and the blessed shield-maidens of Lezstonia, SAPPHIC MUSK!

PARTICIPATION IN KRAMPUS RUN
If you have assembled a complete Krampus suit (not just a mask or pair of horns), we’d be excited to have you join in the run as a performer, but you will need to send us a picture of your complete suit by December 7 to participate. We’ll give you further directions then.
We are also looking for wranglers to help insure the safety of spectators and Krampus (those masks can be clumsy). If interested please email by December 7.
