A teaming horde of wild Krampuses, beer, cider, Bavarian music, holiday crafts, and food pop-ups…

Krampus Los Angeles returns to Benny Boy Brewing, a Lincoln Heights maker of beer and cider with a perfectly festive beer garden strung with lights and glowing with fire-pits. Come sundown, the devils begin sneaking amongst the party-goers.

HOLIDAY MARKET

Arrive early to shop, drink, and rub elbows with your fellow Krampus-fanciers.  Food and craft vendors will be open throughout the event.

SHOP: Local artisans will be on hand to help with your holiday gift shopping. Among the arts and crafts you’ll find more than a few Krampus-themed items, including books, horned headdresses, and KRAMPUS LOS ANGELES shirts.

DRINK: Sample Benny Boys European-inspired California-inflected brews in the tank bar or visit the cider house for some unique offerings, including steaming mulled cider.

EAT: Pop-ups from favorite local kitchens will be selling BBQ, tamales, and tacos throughout the event.

COSTUME: It’s not required, but we’ve noticed that Krampus fans tend to show up in festive outfits reflecting their inner Bavarian party animal. PRIZES for outstanding costumes during the show

STAGE SHOW

Presiding over the evening will be FESTMEISTER HANS, comedian, singer, actor and emcee for many a local Oktoberfest. He will be joined by musical accomplices, DIE SAUERKRAUTS, churning out frothy polka favorites that will get you bouncing, swinging, and swigging that beer.

Internationally acclaimed chanteuse and “Diva of the Secret Societies” CHRISTINA LINHARDT will entertain you with traditional German songs and stories, both playful and macabre. Musical settings will be provided by VOLXTRONIC (Austrian producer, Bernhard Penzias) transforming age-old folk tunes into a dark, electronic feast.

Music from the Krampus homeland will be provided by LADYHOSEN, named for their (almost) namesake leather britches. The all-female lineup is fronted by Munich native Kathrin Jacobs, singing and yodeling you silly. She’s joined by India Anderson on tuba Jessica Fichot on accordion.

KRAMPUS ATTACK!

Soon after the last tuba note fades, an unholy clanking and clattering will arise. Those at a safe distance will soon see horns waggling over the crowd. The brave and foolish on the frontline will feel the swat of switches as the stomping, snarling devils of KRAMPUS LOS ANGELES ATTACK, out in full force NOTE: They’re friendly to photo requests (assuming you’ve been good this year). But beware the towering black goat-demon, Habergeiss!

VALET PARKING ONLY. Very limited street parking nearby. Rideshare highly recommended. Valet service available all evening.
